Looking after the interior of your vehicle is as important as looking after the exterior or it. Having the interior of your car clean can increase the enjoyment you get from driving, improve safety and also help the vehicle to retain as much of its resale value as possible.

Keeping the interior clean can be hard and often requires a lot of elbow grease especially if you have children who often eat in the car or jump in with muddy shoes. The same goes for if you have pets, and removing pet hair from a vehicle can be a nightmare especially if it is left for a while.

Vacuuming the car is probably the best way to look after the interior of the car, vacuuming often will remove dirt before it has had time to set in. Hand help vacuums, although handy are not often the best way to remove dirt and clean the carpets and seats of your car, using a high powered vacuum that has attachments to allow you to get in to all the nooks and crannies is the way forward.

Although vacuuming is great, sometimes you need to go a bit further to remove the marks on seats. Invest in a good upholstery cleaner and make sure that you read the instructions before using. Always patch test any new product before using it on the interior or exterior of your vehicle.
