The Honda Civic has not changed a great deal from the previous version but the minor changes may actually have more an effect on sales than some people think. A lot has been made of the improvement to comfort and handling, but the changes to the design are quite significant.

Not a lot has been done to the front end of the car, but the rear now has a far more sloping roofline, while there is a black finish on the bumpers while a black bar runs between the headlights. It’s certainly a car that’s always tried to keep a contemporary look, and while the design is a bit sporty, there are some features many wouldn’t’ have hoped for.

The boot is extremely large while the back end pops out that little bit more making reversing and parallel parking difficult. There is also the same infotainment system, so owners of the previous version are unlikely to upgrade.
